In­dia strongly protests LoC vi­o­la­tions by Pak

In­dia on Fri­day reg­is­tered a strong protest with Pak­istan for “the con­tin­ued un­pro­voked ceasefire vi­o­la­tions by Pak­istan forces along the LoC and the In­ter­na­tional Bound­ary” and the “con­tin­ued sup­port be­ing ex­tended by the Pak­istan forces for cross bor­der in­fil­tra­tion of ter­ror­ists, in­clud­ing through cov­er­ing fire”, sources said. This year till June, 14 In­di­ans have been killed and 88 In­di­ans have been in­jured in more than 2432 un­pro­voked ceasefire vi­o­la­tions car­ried out by Pak­istan forces, sources added.

Sources said, “We have reg­is­tered our strong protest at the con­tin­ued un­pro­voked ceasefire vi­o­la­tions by Pak­istan forces along the Line of Con­trol and the In­ter­na­tional Bound­ary which are in con­tra­ven­tion to the 2003 Ceasefire Un­der­stand­ing. This year, till June 2020, 14 In­di­ans have been killed and 88 In­di­ans have been in­jured in more than 2432 un­pro­voked ceasefire vi­o­la­tions car­ried out by Pak­istan forces.”

Sources added, “We have also con­veyed our strong con­cerns at the con­tin­ued sup­port be­ing ex­tended by the Pak­istan forces for cross bor­der in­fil­tra­tion of ter­ror­ists, in­clud­ing through cov­er­ing fire. De­spite these con­cerns hav­ing been shared, in­clud­ing through chan­nel of Di­rec­tor Gen­er­als Mil­i­tary Op­er­a­tions, the Pak­istan forces have not ceased such ac­tiv­i­ties.” the
