BLEND OF DANCE AND EXPRESSION

I was fortunate to work with Saroj Khan garu for my film, Choodalani Vundi. Her brilliant dance moves were ably executed by Chiranjeevi garu in the song, O Maria O Maria and they took the song’s visual appeal to the next level. In fact, we had asked her to get the costumes and jewellery and for the artistes for the song, and she appreciated our working style and level of detailing. We also asked her to compose tunes for another song, Abbaba Iddu, a romantic number. The reason we asked her to compose again was that she was not only good at choreographing, but could also bring out the expressive side of the actors. Despite being a star choreographer, she never put on any airs.
