Aish, daughter test +ve, Jaya tests Covid -ve
Both suggested home quarantine
Actress Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and her daughter Aaradhya tested positive for novel coronavirus, hours after her husband Abhishek Bachchan and father-inlaw, megastar Amitabh Bachchan contracted the infection, Maharashtra health minister Rajesh Tope tweeted on Sunday afternoon. However, minutes later, he deleted his tweet.
Rest of the family members — Jaya Bachchan, Shweta Bachchan Nanda and her children Agastya and Navya Naveli — tested negative for the deadly virus. A sanitisation drive was carried out at the Bachchans’ Jalsa residence on Sunday and a team of doctors also arrived to take samples of those whose tests were pending. Their home is now a containment zone and no one is allowed to enter or exit the place. The BMC has also sealed the other three bungalows of the family — Pratiksha, Janak and Vatsa

Aishwarya and Aaradhya’s first test report, which came on Saturday night, was negative but the final report found them to be infected with coronavirus.
Sources in Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) claim that Aishwarya and Aaradhya have been suggested to remain home quarantined as they are asymptomatic. However, it is now up to the family to take a call after consulting their doctor. Medical teams have been deployed at all four bungalows of the Bachchans.
