The Supreme Court on Thursday junked a public interest plea seeking transfer of investigation in late actor Sushant Singh Rajput’s suicide case from Maharashtra police to Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI).

Asking the PIL petitioner Alka Priya to go to Bombay high court if she has anything concrete to show, a bench comprising Chief Justice Sharad A. Bobde, Justice A.S. Bopanna and Justice V. Ramasubramanian dismissed the PIL observing “let police do its job”.

“The Mumbai police are probing the matter. If you want you can go before the Bombay High Court and seek appropriate relief,”, said CJI Bobde, refusing to entertain the plea.

“The writ petition is dismissed”, said the brief order passed by the court.

In the meanwhile Sushant Rajpurt’s father Krishna Kishore Singh has filed a caveat in Supreme Court seeking to be heard before any decision is taken on Rhea Chakraborty’s plea seeking transfer of investigation into FIR relating to Sushasnt Rajput’s suicide lodged in Patna to Mumbai..

The Bihar police team, which arrived here on Wednesday, visited several places, including the residence of Rajput’s friend, actress Rhea Chakraborty.
