CBI to conduct lie-detection test on SSR’s friend Pathani

The CBI, probing the death case of Sushant Singh Rajput, is likely to conduct ‘lie-detection” test on Siddarth Pathani, flatmate of the late actor, as he is allegedly giving conflicting statements and hiding crucial information.

Sources said the agency may also conduct ‘lie-detection” test on Sandip Ssingh, friend of Sushant Singh. “Investigations have revealed that Sandip was not in touch with Sushant Singh Rajput, who was found dead on June 14, for the last 10 months. Suddenly, he exchanged a phone call with the driver of the ambulance, which was used to transport Sushant’s remains, on June 14 and June 16”, sources said. His call after two days of Sushant’s death raises serious questions, sources said adding investigators are exploring the possibility of subjecting him to a ‘liedetection’ test. The CBI took over the Sushant Sigh Rajput case after the Supreme Court’s order on August 19. The actor was found hanging at his Mumbai home on June 14.

As far as Pathani’s claim is concerned, sources said, “Whatever his (Pithani’s) statement that is coming out in media reports that the body of Sushant was brought down on the request of family members, is a lie”. He may also be subjected to liedetection test as he is hiding certain crucial information, sources alleged. “Investigators will first seek their consent as legal provisions entail that such a test cannot be conducted without the permission of the persons. After that the agency will have to seek permission from the court,” sources clarified.
