Varun on a song and dance
Besides his wedding with Natasha Dalal this month, the Coolie No. 1 star has to prepare for a song
In addition to his five-ceremony long wedding, Varun Dhawan is also slated to do a song-anddance routine with Salman Khan and Aayush Sharma for the film Antim:
The Final Truth. According to our sources, Varun is currently shooting for a dance number around Ganapati celebrations in Maharashtra.
The Mahesh-Manjrekar directorial, which has been shot in several parts of Maharashtra, has Salman Khan as a
Sikh cop and Aayush as a gangster.
The said song is being composed by two choreographers — veteran Chinni Prakash and Mudassar Khan — and involves around 110 dancers. It is being shot in a five-night schedule.
“Director Mahesh Manjrekar felt that they needed an important Ganapati song, which symbolises a lot of pomp and grandeur. He asked
Varun to do a dance number in the movie, grooving with Salman and Aayush, for which Varun readily agreed,” the source tells us. “The song also comes at a very important juncture in the movie and is not just a dance number. It has been filmed in the backdrop of the Ganesh Visarjan and is being shot during night shifts.”
The source also tells us that Varun, Salman and Aayush are taking on all-night shoots for the song to help it progress well.
Incidentally, Varun had also danced to a Ganapati song in his latest release Judwaa 2.
