England suffered a major setback on Thursday as their fast bowler Jofra Archer has been ruled out of the second Test with an injury. The second match begins at the M. A. Chidambaram Stadium here on Saturday.

“Archer will miss the Test after having an injection in his right elbow. The injection follows discomfort the fast bowler experienced during the first Test,” said an ECB release.

England, however, are hoping that Archer would be available for the third Test in Ahmedabad. “The issue is not related to any previous injury and it is hoped the treatment will allow the condition to settle down quickly, allowing the player to return to action in time for the third Test in Ahmedabad,” the release added. In Archer's absence, Stuart Broad is likely to share the new ball with James Anderson.

The comfort which I derive from these female friends is amazing as we understand and connect to each other at a deep level, maybe because the issues we face in our professional and personal lives are similar in nature, which men can’t appreciate much

Catherine Tresa seems to be making all the right career moves. After she commenced shooting for Kalyan Ram-starrer recently, we hear the World Famous Lover actress has signed another film, in which she is paired opposite Sree Vishnu. The yet-untitled film is to be directed by Chaitanya Dantuluri.

Speaking about the upcoming project, Chaitanya says, “When I narrated the script to Catherine, she was excited and got a hang of the role instantly. I believe she perfectly complements Sree Vishnu on screen, and together they’ll make for a cool pair.”

Giving some insight into the film, the director tells us that it’s about how the life of a man from a village turns around after arriving in the city. “The audience too has seen Catherine in several roles, but her role as a journalist will have a new spunk,” Chaitanya adds, confident about Catherine’s acting abilities to slip into any role. Meanwhile, producer Sai Korrapati is also excited to welcome her on board the project. “We are looking forward to working

with a performer like her.”
