Indian film units are now opting to work in Europe for safety reasons

Many Indian movie projects are shifting shooting locations to Europe and Russia, where Covid figures are much lower.
Dhaakad and RRR were filmed in Bulgaria and Ukraine respectively. The units of Pathan and Tiger 3 are currently filming in various places in Europe, and so are Akshay Kumar and Rani Mukerji, working on the next film with the Bellbottom team and with the team of Mrs Chatterjee VS Norway respectively.
Ajay Devgn will head to Russia for an eight-day schedule of May Day at a major aerodrome, Tiger Shroff’s Ganapath will be shot in London as well as east European locations, Ranbir Kapoor and Shraddha Kapoor will leave for Europe for their Luv Ranjan film and Thala Ajith will also shoot in Europe.
