VICKTRINA TO PAY `8 LAKH AS RENT

They’ll be Virat-Anushka’s neighbours

Unlike a lot of married couples who prefer to buy a house to start their lives together, actor Vicky Kaushal will live with his soon-to-be wife Katrina Kaif in a rented apartment in Mumbai. We learn that the couple have paid a large deposit of `1.75 crore for the apartment. “They were asked to pay a whopping sum as deposit in exchange for lowering the rent. But even so, they will be paying around `8 lakh per month as rent,” says our source. Apparently, Katrina and Vicky have chosen not to be in the heart of Bollywood, but have opted for Worli, a locality more to the south.

Vicky and Katrina will be the neighbours of another power couple, Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli, at Omkar Apartments. They chose the Worli apartment after consulting Anushka, the sources say. Virat, Anushka and their daughter Vamika are expected to attend Vicky and Katrina’s wedding. Katrina is older than Vicky, and also 12 years his senior in Bollywood. She entered films with Boom in 2003, while Vicky has been in the industry only for six years, after debuting with Masaan. Katrina’s net worth is well over `225 crore, but, though Vicky’s is around nine times lower, as one of the biggest emerging stars, his future looks good. “He is charging a lot of money for his films now, and his personal net worth will go up manifold within a year because of the films he’s doing,” says a brand source.
