Ahan Shetty made his film debut on 03 December with the release of his film Tadap in which he paired up with Tara Sutaria. The actor has decided to take his time signing his next film.“Your first film chooses you. The second one is very important,” explains Ahan. “I’ll not sign a film just because I have offers coming up. I am quite picky so I’ll bide my time before I decide.”

STAYING FOCUSED

Assuring that his team will make an announcement soon, the actor states that he has to ‘shut the external audio’ to focus on his career and his choices. “There was pressure on me about being Suniel Shetty’s son and being launched by Sajid Nadiadwala after he launched Tiger Shroff,” says Ahan. “But it was important to block all the outside noise and not let that affect me. I just want to concentrate on my journey and do well. I just listen to everyone close to me and my support system.”

TAPPING IN EVERYTHING HE CAN OFFER

Ahan now wants to explore the other aspects of his performance. He says, “I still feel like I didn’t explore everything. I am a trained dancer. I’m trained in martial arts. I can sing and play the guitar. I didn’t use any of it [in Tadap]. I had very little dancing. Normally, you want to look good and wear the best clothes and have a nice clean shave. I had none of that. In one scene, I’m completely messed up, and my lips are chapped and black. But then, I had to play the character I was given. I want to be a good actor. Stardom can come later.” Pausing for a moment, Ahan then

adds, “People ask me if I want to be an actor or a superstar. Why can’t a superstar be a good actor?”
