Eyes more exposure in Telugu too

Indian-Canadian actor Vyoma Nandi is thrilled that her Bollywood debut, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2, is a super success. Having made her Tollywood debut with Marala Telupana Priya, Vyoma went on to act in Gujarati films before joining the cast of Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2.

The film, directed by Anees Bazmee, is inching towards the 100 cr mark after its first week of release. “I couldn’t have asked for a better debut in Hindi,” says Vyoma, adding that shooting for the film was amazing. “Getting to work with filmmakers like Anees Sir in the debut film is a rarity,” she points out. She feels working with Anees was a fabulous experience as she learnt so much about the craft from him. “Anees Sir always answers all questions patiently and makes us understand,” she says, adding that he also gives actors the freedom to give their own spin to the part.

“I feel so glad that my role Rajjo is getting a lot of love and appreciation. I think this success only proves I need to be responsible as I take up roles,” she says.

“Although I was part of a handful of films earlier, I was nervous while auditioning for Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2, since it is a big film. I had to prepare well for my part and give my best shot,” she shares, adding that after a month, she got a call that she had been onboarded.

Vyoma is looking forward to more amazing work in Hindi. She also wants to be part of Telugu films because of the kind of content the industry is producing.
