Going by the popularity of sensational Hot Pink appearances on red carpets this season, it’s safe to bring out your inner Barbie with a flash of fuchsia. Dipped in top-totoe hot pink looks, names like Zendaya, Nicola Peltz Beckham, Saweetie, Gigi Hadid and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan are spotted slaying the shade in their own styles. At the Paris Fashion Week, designer Pierpaolo Piccioli unveiled an autumn/winter 2022 Valentino collection entirely in Hot Pink, and the colour has already definitely made an impact on luxury brands like Balenciaga, Gucci and Versace for summer drops.
It’s a colour you can’t ignore, reveals Meghna Goyal, founder of Summer Somewhere. She says, “We’ve seen it on the runway, on celebrities and now trickling into all the retailers. It’s also part of our new drop that launched a few weeks ago. If you’re feeling bold, opt for an all pink Monochrome look and keep the accessories minimal. Or you can add a subtle touch by just pops of the color to an otherwise simple outfit with accessories (bag or shoes).”

She says, “Quite versatile, this is one of the shades that go well in solids, florals and formals. Pair the Hot pink cotton pants with white cotton blouse and pink heels for a chic look. For accessories, layer the pink rubies between solid gold bands or go pink with solid pink sandals and a bag. If it has not made it to your shopping carts yet, you are missing this season's most popular and bold trend.”

Designer Esha Shah, Co-founder of Maishabyesha, recommends, “Keeping up with the whole monochrome look in pink is a celebrity favourite right now. One can also spruce it with a knotted white tshirt paired with hot pink, white sneakers and a hot pink baguette bag/ satchel bag to look summer ready. Don’t go too loud on accessories; keep it minimum and fuss free while sporting the trend. For makeup, try winged eyeliner, soft and dewy look with a nude lip colour.”
