Coca-Cola tops second quarter profit forecasts

Coca-Cola Co on Wednesday reported second-quarter profit of $3.45 billion. The Atlanta-based firm said it had net income of 79 cents per share. Earnings, adjusted for non-recurring gains, were 60 cents per share.
