26 BRO men found guilty of irregularity

Actions have been ordered against 10 officers and 16 subordinates of the Border Roads Organisation (BRO) after they were found guilty of irregularity in a project, defence minister Manohar Parrikar said on Friday. In a written reply to the Lok Sabha, Parrikar said a case of irregularity in the purchase of various types of Hume pipes was noticed in Project Vartak (44 BRTF) of BRO for which an internal Court of Inquiry had been ordered by the oraganisation in October, 2014.
