Not just Bollywood, there will be plenty in store for Hollywood fans as well at Dubai Parks & Resorts. When it opens next month, Motiongate will be the Middle East’s largest Hollywood-inspired theme park and will feature three of the biggest film studios in the world: Sony Pictures Studios, DreamWorks Animation and Lionsgate. Visitors will get to enjoy memorable experiences inspired by popular films from the three studios— Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs, Ghostbusters, Hotel Transylvania, The Smurfs, The Green Hornet, Underworld,
Zombieland, How to Train Your Dragon, Kung Fu Panda, Madagascar, Shrek, The
Hunger Games, etc. Around 27 themed rides and attractions will be spread across five zones: DreamWorks, Lionsgate, Sony Picture Studios, Smurfs Village and Studio Central. But that’s not all. There will also be nine family-friendly restaurants, 15 themed retail outlets and a multi-purpose theatre, with a seating capacity of 1,000. Rides include rollercoaster experiences like the Capitol Bullet Train. Based on The Hunger
Games, the supersonic ride is designed to hurl visitors backwards, forwards and upside down.
