U turns and hypocrisy

-

Chief Minister Narendra Modi has been opposing Prime Minister Narendra Modi for a long time now. BJP opposed every decision of Central Government when they were in opposition. The BJP was against hiking FDI cap to 49 per cent in the insurance sector. It also opposed 51 per cent FDI in Multi-Brand Retail stating that Indian retailers would go out of business. It had vociferously protested against one per cent excise duty on gold by claiming that millions of jewellers would be badly affected. It termed Aadhaar Card ID scheme "fraud" and would review it if voted to power. On record, the BJP had complained to the Election Commission against Aadhar-based direct cash transfer scheme. When the Congress was in power, the BJP-ruled states opposed GST proposals. When in Opposition, BJP opposed boundary agreement with Bangladesh

and the land swap between the two countries. In Parliament, it voted against Indo-US nuclear deal. It clearly shows that BJP never thought of our country when in opposition. They opposed every decision of the UPA and are now expecting the opposition to think about the nation first. It's quite ironic.
