Doc molests patient, held

The Naupada police arrested a doctor for alleged molestation of a patient. The accused Amir Panjwani (44) was arrested on Tuesday night by the Naupada police. He was released on bail on Wednesday. The victim, a patient of Panjwani, is a 30year-old woman. The accused Dr Panjwani, practices at Advanced Orthopaedic Centre which is next to Thane Municipal Commissioner office. Panjwani has been charged under Section 354 of the IPC. “The accused was presented at Thane court on Wednesday and released on bail as per the court orders,.” said Investigating Officer Londe.
