Dr Antonio da Silva School installs artificial football, hockey turfs

MUMBAI: Keeping with the developmen­t and promotion of sports, the Dr. Antonio Da Silva High School, Dadar has installed artificial surfaces on the football, hockey and multi sports facilities at the Dr. Antonio Da Silva Sports Academy situated inside the school premises. The School, founded in 1868, has replaced the natural grass surface with 4thGenerat­ion artificial turfs. The total area of the football ground is approximat­ely of 21,000sq/ft, while the hockey surface is a mini ground of 4,500 sq/ft and the playing area of the multisport facility, on which students can play tennis, basketball, volleyball and also cricket, is also 4,500 sq/ft.
