RINFRA TARIFF RATES REVISED

MUMBAI: The Maharashtra Electricity Regulatory Commission (MERC) has revised the tariff rates for Reliance Infrastructure Ltd which is effective from October 1 this year. This revision of tariff has been done for the period of financial years 2016-17 to 2019-20. RInfra-D is a licensee for electricity distribution in most of Mumbai’s suburbs. The company had submitted a petition to the MERC earlier this year and written suggestions had also been invited from the members of the public. After the public consultation process, which was also attended by several consumer groups, the MERC has determined the aggregate revenue requirement and the tariff for this period through a recent order. The revised tariff rates are effective from October 1, 2016-10-22.
