Empty chairs at Chavan rally

NASHIK: Empty chairs are greeting senior leaders during the run up to municipal corporation elections in Maharashtra. A less than expected number of people turned up to hear Congress State President Ashok Chavan campaign for his party candidates in Ward No 15 of Nashik Municipal Corporation on Sunday, reports said.

However senior Congress leader Sunil Avhad said that the crowd began increasing before the speech and there was even a traffic snarl on the road.
