Easy win for Mumbai Warrior

MUMBAI : Mumbai Warriors SC scored once in each half to blank Companeroes SC 2-0 in a Second Division match of the Mumbai District Football Association League 2016-2017, and played at the RCF Sports Complex ground on Sunday. Strikers Yusuf Banky fired in the first goal in the 30th minute before Hazan Kazi netted the second in the 60th minute to seal the win for the Warriors. In another match, Air India Under-19 put up a determined display as they rallied to overcome Millat FA 2-1. Millat took an early lead through Aniket Shipe in the ninth minute before Dinku Sharma scored the equaliser in the very next minute. Air India clinched the winner when Sumesh Nair found the target in the first minute of additional period of the match.
