the final Unseeded FIDE ELO 1586 rated Pravin Sawardekar of Dhapoli Urban Co-Op. Bank outplayed Maharashtra State Co-Op. Banks Sunil Kadam in a thrilling nail biting encounter to claim the title for first time. In the women’s final Top seeded Madhura Rawool played very aggressively to crush her opponent Jyoti Sawant of Konkan Mercantile Co-Op. Bank Ltd. in 18 moves and claim the women’s title for third time. In the two days tournament Sushant Palkar of Greater Bombay Co-op. Bank was the chief Arbitrator. In the glittering prize distribution ceremony, Sunil Salvi & Narendra Sawant were chief guests.
