2017-18 gross borrowing at `5.80 lakh crore: Das

NEW DELHI: Economic Affairs Secretary Shaktikanta Das on Tuesday said that the gross borrowing for 2017-18 has been pegged at Rs 5.80 lakh crore. "Gross borrowing for FY18 has been pegged at Rs 5.80 lakh crore. Net borrowing is expected at Rs 4.2 lakh crore with Rs 75,000 crore buyback," he told reporters here. Borrowing includes repayment of previous loans and their interests.
