Filmmaker Mohit Suri, who has given hits like Ek Villain,

Aashiqui 2, Kalyug, Raaz, is ready to venture in the music world, by collaborating with Dr Zeus. Suri, who’s movies have always been more renowned for the songs and music, is unveiled a new single titled Party Non-Stop. The track, sung by Kangna hitmaker Dr Zeus, also features Jasmine Sandlas (of Kick’s Yaar

Na Mila fame) and rapper Ikka (of High Heels fame). The music video will have actress Evelyn Sharma shaking a leg with Dr Zeus.

Mohit who is a big fan of Dr Zeus’s music and was ecstatic when he heard that Dr Zeus wanted him to produce his new song. Talking about his collaboration Mohit says, “The minute I heard the song I was jumping. The thing is that we all have grown up on Dr Zeus songs and dancing in clubs and stuff like that, so the minute Vineet from EMI records and came up to me and said that this is a song Dr Zeus, jasmine and Ikka have done it together and they want to be represented by EMI initiative that we have started with universal, I was very happy.”

Mohit loved the song so much that he regrets that he couldn’t include the song in his upcoming film Half Girlfriend. “I genuinely believe that this is a great party song. I wish I could use a song like this in my new film Half Girlfriend, but the unfortunately album was already done. Moreover, every song cannot fit into your film because films are restricted to the story. I didn’t have a plot for this song if I had my way I would have used it in my film but it was not a song that I wanted to let go. So, I just jumped and I told everyone at EMI records that we have to represent this song and we have to give it our all,” Mohit asserted. When asked about his favourite Dr Zeus song, Mohit was exultant and exclaimed Kanagan, a song we all have grooved to in clubs or in parties. “Kangana was path breaking at its time, it had sounds that you had never heard. You never heard words like this before, probably in old traditional songs but the way he makes the modern grove into a traditional almost folkish kind of way with his voice, it was kind of brilliant. And this is also there in party all night also it is not a song that is trying to ape the west, it is an identity of its own, it’s got Jasmine who is rustic you have got Ikka who is from the land of Punjab and then you have Dr Zeus who has an international feel to it,” Mohit gushed. Baljit Singh Padam, better known by his stage name Dr Zeus, is a Punjabi singer and music producer.
