WHAT: Solo exhibition of paintings, tiled ‘Tranquility’, by well-known artist from Bengal, Amit Bhar. This momentous exhibition will be inaugurated on May 1, which is celebrated throughout the state as Maharashtra Diwas. On this symbolic occasion, dignitaries like Dr Sunil Baliram Gaikwad (MP, Latur), Abhijit Bhattacherya (singer), Deepak Singh (Cultural Ambassador, Govt. of Seychelles), Salma Agah (legendary actress and singer), Shivani Kashyap (singer), Prithvi Soni (artist), will launch the event. This show is curated by Susanta Das and organised by AB S Infozon Pvt. Ltd. & An ARTISAN, Kolkata. Amit Bhar calls himself a dreamer and a worshiper of beauty; the beauty which reveals itself in his senses; the beauty which is eternal and immortal. His surreal canvas transcends the viewer to serene world which is resplendent with the rapture of poetic brilliance, the rhythm of which unravels itself in Amit’s sensational works. Residing in Bangalore and born in the plains around the Gangetic region of Hooghly, Amit’s works often take hints from the abundance and dramatic life of Bengal. His works combine sensuous and spiritual pursuits, with soft and gentle treatment of the subjects. Amit’s sensitivities and thoughts are abundantly revealed on his canvas.
