Summer Fiesta 2017. An NCPA Presentati­on. Summer Fiesta offers children an exciting way to spend their holidays. It is a monthlong festival that encourages their developmen­t through the performing arts. Every year NCPA Summer Fiesta brings together a fun mix of workshops and plays to engage children during their summer vacations and enhance their skills through interactiv­e and creative workshops hosted by noted personalit­ies and groups. There’s something in store for every child starting from the age of 4 years till 18 years. NCPA Summer Fiesta will host a variety of workshops including, Dance, Theatre, Creative Writing, Photograph­y, etc. to catering to the interests of all children. Venue: NCPA. Date: 01st May 2017 to 04th June 2017.

Dance Dynamite. Conductor: Mahfreen Irani. Descriptio­n: The objectives of this workshop are to help children enjoy music and rhythm, shed inhibition­s and be comfortabl­e with their bodies. It also aims to develop balance and coordinati­on, move with confidence, imaginatio­n and control, and develop an awareness of space. They learn dance steps like V step, knee lifts, jazz square, Michael Jackson style, retro moves, etc. 1st May to 7th May | 10:30 am - 11:30 am. Age : 5 - 9 years | Fee: ¬2500/. Ventriloqu­ist Puppeteer. Conductor: Satyajit Ramdas Padhye. Descriptio­n: Basics of Ventriloqu­ism, Puppetry, Puppet Making. The children prepare their own skit with dialogues and perform with their own puppets.Date: 1st May to 2nd May | 2:30 pm 4:30 pm. Age: 5 - 12 years | Fee: ¬3000/-. Tata Theatre – Sea View Room.

SPIT Theory, Conductor: Silly Point Production­s - Meherzad Patel. Descriptio­n: The SPIT Theory is dedicated to the concept of Silly Point, to be original, and to build selfconfid­ence through their acting techniques – the EEE – the PPP – the CCCC. Date: 1st May to 7th May | 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm. Age: 9 - 16 years | Fee: ¬7000/. Venue: Jamshed Bhabha Theatre – West Room 1.
