JUSTIN LANDS , MUMBAI ROCKS

Fast News

- RONALD RODRIGUES

Believe it or not, Justin Beiber is finally here, ready to rock Mumbai with his maiden India concert. The hysteria among the Canadian pop star’s fans was evident from Tuesday morning — a few hundred of Bieber’s diehards lined up outside the Santa Cruz airport even though it wasn’t clear when the star singer would land. After rocking the stage in Dubai on May 6, the ‘Love Yourself ’ singer tweeted just before boarding the flight, “Dubai is incredible...India you are next.” Bieber’s arrival in Mumbai was delayed even though his crew of about 120 men and women landed in the city a day before. Seema Bose, waiting outside the airport since Tuesday morning, said, “I have taken the day off from work to catch a glimpse of Justin.” But everything about the star has been kept under wraps. Justin will in all likelihood stay at St Regis Hotel, but nobody would confirm. At least 12 helicopters have been kept ready to fly him and his crew to the stadium at Navi Mumbai just in case. Also at hand would be a fleet of Volvo buses and luxury cars. Security is paramount for such mass concerts. The Mumbai police has deployed over 500 special security personnel in and outside the stadium. Justin;s personal security has been organised by Shera, Bollywood actor Salman Khan’s personal bodyguard. Bieber will perform along with his dance troupe starting at 8 pm before a crowd of 50,000. So, see you in Navi Mumbai’s D.Y. Patil Stadium at 4 pm today.

JUST LIKE HIS ARRIVAL IN MUMBAI, EVERYTHING ABOUT THE STAR HAS BEEN KEPT UNDER WRAPS. THIS IS FOR HIS SECURITY
