FPJ-HEF round-table on challenges before higher education today

The Free Press Journal and Higher Education Forum (HEF) are holding a round table discussion on the ‘Management education: Challenges and way forward’ at Taj Lands End, Bandra,today from 3-6 pm.

The keynote address will be delivered by Dr. A K Sen Gupta, mentor – SIES College of Management Studies and founder of HEF. The event will be moderated by RN Bhaskar, consulting editor, FPJ.

Among educationi­sts, the panel will comprise Dinesh Harsolekar, director, IES Management College and Research Centre, Seema Mahajan, director Pravin Dalal Centre for Entreprene­urship and Family Business Management, NMIMS University, Lakshmi Mohan, campus head, ITM Business School, Kharghar, Pradeep Pendse, dean IT/ e- Business / Business Design Welingkar B-School, Navin Punjabi, assistant professor, HR College of Commerce & Economics and Director Placements, Sharad Sarin, professor, marketing and strategy, XLRI, Jamshedpur; and Bigyan Verma, director, Guru Nanak Institute of Management Studies.

The representa­tives from corporate enterprise­s spanning healthcare, retail, banking, IT and other services, include Jeevananda­n B, vice president HR and training of Reliance Digital, Devdutt Kadrekar, head HR of Lloyd’s Register Asia; Asit Mohapatra, former director HR of Raymond and currently head corporate relations SIESCOMS, Bikash Prasad, general manager and head HR of Future Supply chain, Prem Singh, president and global head HR of Wockhardt Ltd, and Monika Surana, executive vice president HR of Yes Bank.
