Ramdas Athawale to inaugurate ‘CSR Summit & Awards 2017’
The financial city is getting ready to welcome one of the biggest forum in India’s Corporate Social Responsibility sector. Over 200 CSR heads from across the country will be participating in ‘CSR Leadership Summit and Awards 2017’ which will also bring 300 plus organisations under one roof. This year the theme of the event is ‘celebrating CSR innovation and leadership’ and will be held at the Hotel Sahara Star, Mumbai on May 26, 2017.
The Summit which will be inaugurated by Ramdas Athawale, minister of state for social justice and empowerment, will have a list of eminent speakers who will be addressing the gathering. During the program, two CSR Books will be launched. ‘Exploring CSR – Fundamentals and Implementation’ authored by Ravi Raj Atrey and ‘Six Essential Steps in Implementing CSR’ authored by V Reddappa Reddy and C Dheeraja will be launched at the forum.

The Summit will provide a platform for Indian companies to showcase their work in CSR domain and how it forms an integral part of the company’s strategy. The consulting firms, NGOs and researchers will join the corporate leaders with some innovative ideas, which are proven to be effective with some real life demonstrations or the research projects. The summit will be a great opportunity for corporate to interact with CSR experts and the young minds to further enhance the value of projects being undertaken.
