Pudumjee Paper products profit after tax soars by 96 per cent

Pudumjee Paper Ltd has reported a turnover of Rs 543.89 crore in the financial year ended on March 31, 2017, meanwhile, it was Rs 494.72 crore in the year ago financial year ended on March 31, 2016. The EBIDTA for the year grew by 34 per cent to Rs 46.97 crore as against Rs 34.93 crore the previous financial year. The profit after tax (PAT) increased by 96 per cent to Rs 19.87 crore in FY 2017, as against Rs 10.12 crore in FY 2016. The company has declared a dividend of 15 per cent compared to last years which was 10 per cent. The company sold 60,483 MT of paper, a 23 per cent increase over 49,292 MT of paper sold during the previous year.
