Cut-off marks for NEET-PG reduced to fill seats

-

NEW DELHI: The Health Ministry on Wednesday reduced the qualifying criteria of the cut-off marks in the National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test (NEET)-PG, 2017, by 7.5% to ensure a score of seats in the postgraduate courses do not remain vacant. The lowering of the percentage only for the academic year 2017 will benefit some 9,000 students who do not secure the qualifying marks. The new qualifying marks are 42.5% for general candidates, 32.5% for reserved category candidates and 37.5% for physically handicapped (PWD) candidates.
