‘Kriti is a special friend’

Actor Sushant Singh Rajput says he shares a very special bond with his co-star Kriti Sanon

The sizzling chemistry between Raabta actors Sushant Singh Rajput and Kriti Sanon is palpable in every frame. But the actor disses every romantic rumour associated with the pair. “Kriti listens to everything happening in a scene intently and reacts to it and I try and do the same. This is the only reason I feel that most of the times the chemistry between us is appreciated. It was there even when we were auditioning together for the first time and didn't know each other,” he says.

The actor he feels that she is very transparent and hard working. “Kriti is a very dear and a special friend. There are many things that we can talk about, and share similar passions. Delhi background, engineering, food, films. She is also very transparent and a very hard working actor, which I absolutely admire,” he says.

Kriti too describes him as ‘an amazing actor’. "He can essay different kind of roles.We as actors relate to each other even if we are not related to each other," she says.

And though his next revolves around afterlife and eternal love, Sushant doesn’t believe in such notions. “I don't believe in afterlife or reincarnation. I also can't make too much sense of life itself. But I genuinely feel if there's anything worth doing, it has to be for love,” he says adding “I feel that if a movie is engaging enough to not let you think about anything else, it definitely resonates with audience and according to me Raabta is an extremely engaging film.” The 31-year-old actor who has already made his mark with hits like MS Dhoni, says he does not choose a film keeping in mind its eventual performance at the box office. "The box office prospect of a film never influences my decision. I never decide on my films with the assumption that this will or won't do well in the market. I am pushed by difficult roles offered in a film and feel the challenge to deliver,” says the Detective Byomkesh Bakshy actor
