INTERNATIONAL YOGA DAY

JNPT organised a yoga session at its training centre for its employees. A separate yoga session was also organised for children of St. Mary’s School, JNPT. At JNPT, a skilled yoga instructor conducted the session, where she discussed how yoga can help them live a healthy life. Yoga should be practised daily for all round fitness and a stress-free life.
Life Insurance Corporation of India
Life Insurance Corporation of India observed the International Yoga Day. The event was held in the Central Office premises located in Yogakshema Building, Mumbai. Hemant Bhargava, managing director inaugurated the programme in the presence of executive director, corporate communications, S N Bhattacharya. Many employees performed yoga asanas, taking advantage of guidance given by Yoga expert Mickey Mehta, who also gave a talk on holistic living and importance of Yoga for complete wellbeing.
NTPC Northern Region HQ
Three days were dedicated to activities related to yoga at NTPC-NRHQ on the occasion of International day of Yoga from June 2017. R S Rathee, RED (NR) performed yoga with the employees of NRHQ. He said that according to Bhagvat Gita, ‘Yoga is the journey of self through the self to the self’ and one should do yoga for healthy body and mind.
