Our global icon Priyanka Chopra is back in Mumbai on a quick holiday but that doesn’t mean that business takes a back seat. The Baywatch actress while in town decided to pitch in to promote her new movie Kya Re Rascala. But Priyanka doesn’t want her new film to feel the pressure of her National Award Winning debut movie Ventilator. “I have never taken any pressure for a national award. Just want to give a chance to new talent. Pressure is not right for any actor, especially not right for a film,” says Priyanka. Talking more about awards the actress also talked about her inclusion in the prestigious Academy jury. “I don’t know how it happened. They sent me an invite and I am thankful for including such diverse people. Academy opens itself to so many movies in other languages. We have won awards for movies not made by Indian people,” says the Bajirao Mastani actress. While the industry is enjoying its time in New York, Priyanka is in Mumbai, a coincidence that the actress dismissed. “You tell me does every actor do every award show every year. So why are you asking me this,” laughs Priyanka. Talking about her future plans the actress opened up about new Hollywood projects. “I have been too busy. I wish I could clone myself. I just had two quick films before Quantico starts. These are no Priyanka Chopra movie. I have done some really interesting projects. Next year too I will be doing more films. I will also be producing Hindi and English movies very soon,” Priyanka added Recently the actress also topped a Top 10 actors chart on social media beating her Baywatch co-star Dwayne Johnson. “I want to thank my well-wishers. The interaction they have with me is all on them. Even my co-actors congratulated me,” added Priyanka. The Barfi! actor also talked about her role as a producer and emphasises on how she gives her team freedom during filming, but is totally involved during post and preproduction. “I am never satisfied of anything. But I am very proud of my director. I loved the story and the music. We will find the fate of the movie soon.As a producer I am only involved in pre and post production only,” she added.
