The bitter-sweet bond between siblings is like a clichéd Bollywood film, with the blend of drama and action, with a dosage of love and affection. And now Bollywood will see several real-life siblings coming together on screen. And its not just actors, but siblings have also worked together in the capacity of directors and producers. Here are some brothers and sisters who are all set to entertain the audience this year and some who already have made their presence felt.
Shahid and Sanah Kapoor
Shahid Kapoor’s step sister Sanah Kapoor, daughter of ace actors Pankaj Kapoor and Supriya Pathak, made her Bollywood debut with the movie Shaandaar. Though the movie was a flop, but Sanah managed to charm the audience with her acting skills.Te song Gulaabo, which features her brother Shahid and Alia Bhatt topped the charts after the release. Shahid never misses a chance to show his brotherly love for his sister, and had he had posted an adorable picture with Sanah on social media, captioned: “Feeling the sister love today”. Currently, Sanah is focusing on her Bollywood career and Shahid is busy with Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Padmavati.
The Khan Brothers
Dabbang, Dabbang 2, Hello Brother, Veer, Maine Pyaar Kyun Kiya... we have seen
Salman, Arbaaz and Sohail Khan sharing the screen and charming the audience with their onscreen chemistry and brotherly bond. Salman and Sohail were recently seen brothers in Kabir Khan’s Tubelight. Though the movie failed at the box office, the brother duo managed to garner great reviews for their onscreen relationship. Apart from Salman, Arbaz and Sohail were seen together in Kisaan, which was based on Indian farmers’ suicide.
Aditya and Kunal Roy Kapoor
These two devars of actress Vidya Balan were seen together in Ayan Mukherjee’s Yeh Jawaani
Hai Deewani. Aditya and Kunaal’s elder brother Sidharth Roy Kapoor, Vidya’s husband, is a successful producer.The trio haven’t worked together, but they are always supportive of each other’s choices. Kunaal will be seen in a suspense thriller film titled The Final Exit and a web series called Going Viral Pvt Ltd. Aditya, on the other hand, it is said has a cameo in Sonakshi SinhaDiljit Dosanjh starrer Crazy Hum and Abhishek Varman’s multi-starrer tentatively titled Shiddat.
Sunny and Bobby Deol
Th powerful Deol brothers have worked together in many movies. Yamla Pagla Deewna (par one and two, which also starred their father Dharmendra), Apne, Shaheed, are some of the popular movies that witnessed their onscreen association. Apart from working on onscreen, Sunny Deol has produced as well as shared the screen space with his younger brother Bobby in movies like Chamku,
Shaheed, Aur Pyaar Ho Gaya and Dillagi. The Deol brothers will soon share the silver screen again in actor Shreya Talpade’s Bollywood directorial debut Poster Boys. The movie is a remake of the hit Marathi movie

Sonam and Rhea Kapoor
Anil Kapoor’s talented daughters Rhea and Sonam have successfully made their name in Bollywood. Rhea had produced the movie Aisha that featured her sister Sonam Kapoor and Abhay Deol. Apart from Aisha, Rhea was one of the producers of Sonam-starrer Khoobsurat. Rhea also happens to be Sonam’s fashion mentor, and buzz is Rhea will keep a check on Sonam’s style and appearance in her upcoming movie, Veere Di Wedding. The sister duo has also launched a fashion brand called Rheson.
Farhan and Zoya Akhtar
Another brother-sister duo who is popular for their witty humour and cinematic intelligence. They have produced many blockbuster movies together. Dil Chahta Hai was Farhan’s directorial debut and Zoya was the casting director of the movie, along with this Zoya had also assisted in direction for the movies like Lakshya. In 2009, Zoya made her directorial with the movie Luck
By Chance, starring Farhan in the lead. Farhan has also acted in movies like Zindagi Na Milegi
Dobara and Dil Dhadakne Do.
Tusshar and Ekta Kapoor
He is an actor and she is the queen of television industry. Ekta Kapoor, pioneer of saasbahu daily soaps has produced several movies for her brother Tusshar Kapoor. Ekta and Tusshar have collaborated for Kyaa Kool Hain Hum, The Dirty Picture, Shoot Out At Wadala, Shor In The City, Shootout At Lokhandwala and Shoot Out At Wadal.
More than producing the film, Ekta Kapoor has also done a cameo in the movie C Kkompany that featured her brother Tusshar, Anupam Kher, Rajpal Yadav along and Mithun Chakraborty.
Huma Qureshi and Saqib Saleem
This amazingly talented brother-sister duo was seen in the supernatural horror film Dobara: See Your Evil, which is the official remake of Hollywood movie, Oculus. Huma who made her Bollywood debut with Gangs of Wasseypur shared the screen with her brother for the first time.Their real to reel chemistry made headlines during the promotion of the movie. Although movie failed to impress the viewers, the movie is worth a watch for Huma and Saqib’s acting skills.
