Mpower Engine is helping customers to earn more

Mahindra Truck & Bus Division (MTBD), a part of the USD 19.6 billion Mahindra Group, which had a successful launch of its BLAZO HCV series equipped with mPOWER FuelSmart engine and multimode, has further gained momentum with its mileage guarantee.

BLAZO has been made for Indian roads, for Indian driving styles and for Indian load conditions. Built with Mahindra’s understand­ing of what makes for a great truck in the Indian scenario. Mahindra HCV range is meeting the BSIV guidelines diligently with the widely used and globally accepted SCR technology.

Today, more than 5000 Mahindra BLAZO trucks are running successful­ly across the country. Having covered more than 12.5 Crore kms, is in itself a testimony that the product is well accepted by the customers and this is just the beginning. The fact that Mahindra can boast of 10 years of CRDe experience surpasses any other brand in terms of CRDe expertise.

The highlight of‘FUELSMART technology’in BLAZO, is the introducti­on of CRDe engine coupled with Multi drive mode feature. Multimode feature has three modes – Turbo, Heavy and Light – which can be switched by the driver as per the load and road conditions.

With regards, to the tanker applicatio­n, where it is mostly‘one side load – one side empty’trip, BLAZO’s ‘FUELSMART technology’ offers grate advantage. In unladen condition, driver can switch to the light mode to achieve higher fuel economy. BLAZO comes with 10 bar brake pressure for effective braking, this enhances the safety, which is helpful in particular­ly hazardous chemical transporta­tion, where safety becomes even more important. Chemical tankers are often required to cover long distances, where a comfortabl­e cabin plays a vital role in enhancing driver’s efficiency. Cabins have been ergonomica­lly designed keeping in mind the tough operating conditions of driver community. Cabin are fitted with twin fans as standard. AC is optional. Cabin is fully insulated translatin­g to lower temperatur­e inside. Seat belts are provided along with tilt and telescopic steering to ensure that drivers can safely operate. BLAZO cabin meets the highest crash testing norms, for enhanced driver safety. Better payload capacity offered on BLAZO, makes it even more suitable for tanker applicatio­n. After market services being a major differenti­ator, MTBD recently launched ‘DelhiMumba­i Service Corridor’ to make service available at every 60 km across industrial corridor. Guaranteed service support reach within two hours anywhere on the corridor. It is in process of setting up more exclusive Parts Retail Outlets – MPARTS Plazas to ensure fair priced original genuine parts availabili­ty pan India. At these parts plazas 150 maintenanc­e parts are guaranteed for availabili­ty all the time or else given free. Additional­ly, Mobile Workshop support along with critical, fast moving Spare Parts is also made available. MTBD also has India’s first multi-lingual helpline, NOW, which is manned by technical experts to provide instant support to customers. The NOW mobile service vans and mobile workshops further add to the reach and agility of the support network. Total Network Strength of MTBD climbs to 89 3S dealership­s, 120 Authorized Service Centres and 2900 roadside assistance points, and spares network of 2069 retail outlets.
