Attendees’ outlook
While talking about the event, commercial manager of the shipping company Odfjell India, Manisha Desai informed, “Ours is a Norway-based chemical tanker company. From India, we handle customers in India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka and Bangladesh. I attended the conference to understand how the industry functions within the country and whether there is any growth happening in the chemical segment. Of course, the other purpose was networking. Quite a good number of topics they have covered here. Also, the panelists were very senior and industry stalwarts. I am very much satisfied.”
Commenting on the conference, Nilesh Shringarpure, marketing manager of Noma Infrastructure said, “We are basically an equipment provider of ISO tanks for supply chain and also provide equipment for logistics companies. I wanted to gauge the trends and developments in the industry. I must say, it is a knowledgeable experience.”
Director and COO, Taurus Lines, Nishant Bhide revealed, “I came here to basically understand the issues that are playing in the chemical industry, and how we can go about these issues and find out the solutions. This was the right place to gain focus on those issues from the industry experts and to understand the solutions and innovations that are happening in the industry.” Bhide added, “I look forward to more such events where we can discuss each such issue in a more detailed way.”
