Banjo is a 2016 musical film starring Riteish Deshmukh and Nargis Fakhri in lead roles. The story of the movie, directed by Ravi Jadhav, revolves around Mumbai-based five-member local band headed by Taraat (Riteish Deshmukh). Mickey (Luke Kenny) is in search of an expert who can play banjo flawlessly. He then comes across a local concert organised by Taraat and his band. When Nargis Fakhri arrives in Mumbai, Taraat falls in love with her. And Nargis who needs a fresh and raw band for her music festival, feels Taraat his band is the right choice that will enthral all with desi numbers.
