Traders’ appeal on cracker ban

Traders in Delhi have appealed against the cracker ban. Instead of complete ban on bursting crackers in Delhi and NCR region during this year Diwali, the SC should allow bursting of crackers for two hours in the morning and in the evening. Every family household living in Delhi or any place across the country should resolve and restrict purchase of crackers up to a maximum amount of Rs.1000/-. This kind of self imposed resolution and restriction will definitely have salutary effect. —Ramanath Nakhate
