BJP’s Shaina NC and RTI activist Jyoti Rathod join hands over Hancock Bridge

A concerted effort on the part of social activist and BJP leader Shaina NC has put the pressure on Railways and BMC to take a serious view of the Hancock Bridge issue. Shaina and RTI activist Jyoti Rathod, local residents and BJP karyakartas have been meeting with General Manager Central Railway Deven Kumar Sharma on multiple occasions to get a speedy solution to the long standing precarious situation and danger to lives of local residents as a result of the demolition of the Hancock bridge and the non-construction of even a temporary FOB to facilitate movement of residents across from Dongri to Mazagaon and vice versa.
