Sports Week Kickboxing event gets good response
Maharashtra Government, Sports and Services Directorate - Maharashtra State, Pune District Sports Officer Mumbai City and Shito Ryu Sports Karate and Kickboxing Association jointly organized the “Sport Week” Kickboxing Championships in the Bharat Ratna Rajiv Gandhi District Sports Complex on Sunday.
Shito Ryu Sports Karate and Kickboxing Association President Umesh Murkar was the chief organizer of the event.
District Sports Officer Suvarna Bartakke, Corporator Sumit Patil was the chief guest and Marriamal Mutu Thewar were present during the championship.
Over 230 students participated in the tourney, registration which was done on the website of the association. Results:
First Place (Girls): Ashika Teli, Assya Sanap, Atheeva Lad, Bhargavi Teli, Ashna Singh, Rhea Naidu, Anshika Chauhan, Peehoo Bagade, Pranali Kothnis, Priya Shetty, Nitika Vishwakarma, Blessy Naidu, Tejal Bedmutha, Chanchal Choubey, Riya Dave, Arya Guldekar, Megha Deshmukh, Samprati C Patil.
First place (Boys): Grisham Patwardhan, Gaurav Mhatre, Cyril Rex, Daksh Shetty, Mohd.
