NEW DELHI: Olympic bronze medallist Sakshi Malik walked the ramp while CWG gold winner and showstopper Geeta Phogat showed her dancing prowess by grooving to Dangal's title song days ahead of Pro Wrestling League 3. Walking the ramp and dancing alongside Sakshi were Olympic medallists Helen Maroulis and Marwa Amri along with Commonwealth Games medallist Tayla Ford and U23 world champion Bajrang Punia. While Geeta grooved on the beats of Dangal, Olympic and world champion Maroulis danced on Deewani Mastani followed by other Indian and international stars. Gracing the ramp with musical moves, Olympic and world champion Maroulis said, "I am glad to be a part of Pro Wrestling League. It is very famous worldwide and it gives the much-needed platform to the players. I am eagerly looking forward to be a part of Season 3." MUMBAI: Pivot Poojan Ajmera (18) along with Darienne Nazareth (14) and Sakshi Arora (10) played a major role to get past Dombivli’s strong outfit Agradnya Shala 53-45 to breeze into women’s finals of the Mastan YMCA Basketball tournament, hosted by Bombay YMCA’s Physical Education Department at their floodlit courts at Agripada last night. They take on Dominic Savio, an easy 30-17 winners over Life Changers in the other lacklustre semi-final. The Bandra YMCA-Agradnya tie was a thrilling affair with the Bandra players holding a slight edge over their fancied rivals. At one stage, they were 35-33 at the end of the third quarter. But the last quarter was most absorbing one as midway they were tied at 45-all before the girls from Bandra struck quick baskets through Pooja and Sakshi to see them through. As Gun for Glory's shooters work hard each day to get better, Maharashtra’s Swaroop Mahavir Ulhankar, who is part of Project Leap is already bearing results at the National Shooting Competitions for para-athletes.

He scored an unprecedented 604.8 to clinch the gold in the 10M Rifle (IPC) Standing Championship for men and a bronze in the same category for mixed seniors with a score of 624.6.

Swaroop made a golden start to the men's event as he scored an unparalleled 101.4 with his first shot. The next two shots fetched him 100.9 and 101.9 to get into the lead among the ten shooters in fray. He was on the mark with his next shot too (100.9) but went off the 100-mark with his fifth shot and scored a 99.6.
