Raut says missiles are just for exhibition at R-parade

-

Shiv Sena has once again lambasted the BJP-led union government over ceasefire violation by Pakistani rangers in Rajouri in J&K along the international border in which one officer and three jawans lost their lives. Reacting to the incident, Sanjay Raut, Shiv Sena leader and Rajya Sabha (RS) member remarked, “Pakistan used missiles in attacking our jawans. Are our missiles just for exhibiting and gathering applause at Rajpath? Are they just for showing to the Foreign Heads on 26th January?”

Raut, while speaking to the media on Monday, further remarked “These are direct attacks and India should answer them in the same manner. If India will not give an answer to this than it will not be considered ‘man enough’ by the world.”

Raut added that forget the ceasefire, this is direct war.

This is not the first time the Sena has used strong words or lambasted the BJP-led government over Pakistansponsored terrorism. In November 2015, it patted its back after Pakistan urged the international community to treat Sena and Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) as terror outfits.

In November 2017, the Shiv Sena had questioned Prime Minister Narendra Modi over continued terror attacks despite warnings being issued to Pakistan by India and US officials.

After the Indian army conducted surgical strike across the India-Myanmar border in October 2015,, taking the cue from it, the Sena wanted the government to let the Army enter Pakistan and eliminate terrorism from its roots. “The way our forces entered Myanmar to eliminate terrorists we are capable of doing the same in Pakistan Occupied Kashmir (PoK),” said Raut.
