Khadse lauds Fadnavis for taking historic decisions

-

Praising decisions taken by the Devendra Fadnavis government during past three years, Eknath Khadse, former minister and senior Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader claimed party leaders and ministers failed to inform such decisions to the people. He said despite the historic decision of loan waiver, not a single minister or party legislator is speaking about it, whereas it should be celebrated at all nukkads and corners.

In an informal chat with media persons, Khadse said, “Despite announcing and successfully implementing the mega loan waiver scheme for farmers, the government and the party has fallen short when it came to taking credit for the scheme.” So far the government has disbursed Rs 30,000 crore directly to the bank accounts of farmers and the figure is bound to increase in the coming days, he added.

Khadse pointed out the Nanaji Deshmukh Krushi Sanjeevani Yojana is being implemented in the 15 suicide prone districts of the state. “The scheme is designed to change the lives of the farmers. Under the scheme farmers are being given farm implements like Shed-Nets, Green Houses, tractors and other implements on 100 percent subsidy.”

He added, However, the government, the ministers, party legislators and party cadres are falling short in informing the farmers about the benefits of the scheme. On the other hand all the villages in Madhya Pradesh are now connected by roads, enabling farmers to bring their produce to the cities.

Khadse further said the ministers and party cadres look up to Fadnavis for directions and are afraid to speak for the fear of being caught on the wrong foot. Khadse admitted the party has become lethargic after coming to power and is unable to encash on the implementation of the schemes that have really been a success on the ground.
