Don Bosco Institute Technology holds business summit

Don Bosco Institute Technology -MMS organised ‘Social Business Summit – 18’ on March 10 at its Kurla campus. This year the theme of the event was Social Entrepreneurship – Become job creators not job seekers. The key speakers were A Velumani, Founder & CEO, Thyrocare Technologies, Avinash Sisode, Founder & Chairman, E&G Group of Companies, Subhash Talekar, spokesperson at Mumbai Dabbawala Association, and Nimesh Shetty, Founder & Director, Third Eye Café, shared their respective inspiring stories of becoming a social entrepreneur and also stated the challenges faced during the journey. The institute also hosted an inter-college competition for B-Schools during the summit, which aimed at persuading students to think of a social enterprise and present it to a panel of judges.
