Sahayog: An exhibition of paintings & sculptures

WHAT: ‘Sahayog’, an exhibition of paintings and sculptures by 21 artists: Aadhya Shivakumar, Ankur Bhatt, Anupama Mandavkar, A.J. Moujan, Arpito Gope, Deepa Hekre, Deepak Patil, Deepika Garg, Ishwar Shetty, Krish Bajaj, Onkar Kshirsagar, Prasad Mane, Revathi Shivakumar, Sanjay Ahire, Satish B. Patil, Satyendra Rane, Sheetal Kamble, Smita Rane, Sonu Gupta, Ujwala Kumar, Vishwa Sahni. This exhibition will be inaugurated by Arup Patnaik, Ex. Commissioner of Mumbai Police, Balram Singh Yadav, Managing Director, Godrej Agrovet on March 17 at 5 pm. This show has been curated by Satyendra Rane and supported by Godrej Tyson. The exhibition will see works of established along with upcoming artists displayed under one roof. The ethos behind Sahayog is to transcend competition to join hands and grow together. In the earlier edition, we had 18 artists participating. The exposure from the show gave some artists opportunities to exhibit and sell in other galleries and exhibitions subsequently. A part of the proceeds of sales from this exhibition will be donated to Konark Cancer Foundation who is working in collaboration with several NGOs for providing help and relief to cancer patients and their dependents.
