Babbar’s resignation

-

Rahul Gandhi, seems much serious about 2019 general election. With all the steps earlier taken in the party to bring the revolutionary changes in it, probably, he understood that the influential figures. It is considered that in the wake of it, Raj Babbar also resigned from the post of Uttar Pradesh Congress Chief, hence the way will be clear for the younger leaders, as Rahul Gandhi said in the plenary session recently. As earlier in the day, Goa Congress Chief Shantaram Naik, too, had resigned from his post, citing national party President Rahul Gandhi's call to"make way for younger leaders". But it also should be noted that this is not the first time Babbar has indicated his inclination to resign from the party. Rather earlier in 2017, he had offered to resign after facing criticism for the party's performance in the UP assembly elections.
