Rashami Desai minds her own business

Rashami Desai has always maintained a low profile. She has always been involved in her work and says that this has been a conscious effort. She says she has not been so much in the news lately, because she has been working on herself. “I was working on myself. There will always be new changes in Rashami and in the future as well, you will get to see some changes. I also maintain a low profile because I mind my own business. I know it’s nice to be important but it is more important to be nice. I don’t get into controversies just for the sake of it,” she says. Rashami adds that there have been a lot of changes in the industry. “After every five years, you get to see some new changes. There is always a new generation coming up. When I used to watch Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi,I think it was something very extraordinary. When I started working in Uttaran, it was very different. The relationship between the viewers and the actors was purer. Now everything has changed. Now we have to think about multiple things when we work,” she says.

The actor is currently part of the show Dil Se Dil Tak, and is loving it. “As an actress, I make sure that the audience feels connected to my character Shorvari. If they actually see a similarity between Rashami and Shorvari then I think it is an achievement,” she says, adding, “I am happy that people are loving our work and there is much more to come!”
