Four-yr-old dies after falling from 11th floor in Thane

-

A 4-year-old boy has been died after he fell from his 11th floor residence in the Hiranandani estate on Thursday. He was playing along with his twin brother in the home. The Kasarwadavali police have filed an accidental death report.

The child’s father who works in Belgium has rushed back to India after the tragic incidence.

On the dreadful evening of Thursday both the twins were playing near the window while their mother was working in the bathroom. After she came out, she saw only one child Pranay while Aaditya was missing. She started frantically searching for him, but could not find him in the house. A small girl found the boy lying in a pool of blood on the terrace of first floor. The boy was then rushed to a private hospital where he was declared dead.

“Aaditya was playing along with his twin brother Pranay. Their mother Ranjana was working in the bathroom. The child must have lost his balance as there is no grill to the window. He fell down on the first floor terrace and died,” said the police.

Aaditya had apparently fallen on the terrace above on the entrance of the building. “A girl from the same building saw the child while other people were searching the child. She saw him in the pool of blood and came shivering and informed the people. She even had rushed to the 11th floor to inform his mother but saw the twin and was confused. The girl was scared and returned home. She told her mother about the incident, and the people went there to look out for the kid,” added police.

Aaditya’s father Pankaj works in a private firm in Belgium.
