Kasarvadawali cops will take action against Bangla nationals for getting Aadhar, PAN cards fraudulently
The Kasarvadawli police have been taking action against Bangladeshi nationals who have been illegally procuring Aadhar cards and PAN cards and residing at Thane.
The police have booked Aaliya alias Shahnaz Siddhesh Valanju (27) who has procured fake Aadhar card and PAN card along with the help of Corporator Shilpa Sapre from Bharmal. As per the documents which are available with the Free Press
Journal, Aaliya’s original name is Shahnaz Jabbar Shaikh and she has married Siddhesh Valanju. Aaliya had given a fake residential address of Sai Vihar building at Radha Krishna nagar at Chiplun to procure the government documents.
According to Mohan Krishnan, President of Anti-Corruption Bureau and Crime Preventive Council, “Despite repeated attempts, since Aaliya could not procure Aadhar card and PAN card from Thane, she got an affidavit done stating that Aaliya was known to the Corporator Shilpa Sapre from Chiplun. On the basis of the affidavit, a PAN card and an Aadhar card was procured by her from Konkan Bhavan. We are yet to ascertain if she has acquired a passport too.”
As per a Right to Information (RTI) inquiry by Krishnan, more than 25,000 Bangladeshi nationals have been residing at Kasarvadawali at Thane.
The Kasarvadawali police have booked Aaliya for bigamy (Section 494) since Siddhesh had married Aaliya without divorcing his first wife Mayuri (27).
Mayuri has been running from pillar to post since August 2017 to get her husband arrested.
“My husband Siddhesh is married to Aaliya and they have a son. I have been continuously receiving threat calls from Siddhesh and Aaliya,” said Mayuri.
Mayuri’s troubles started in 2013 with fights over petty household chores.
“Siddhesh would suddenly become violent, beat me and took away my gold jewellery that my parents had gifted me at the time of our marriage. He would threaten me often to leave my marital home at Ghodbunder road at Kasarvadawli,” added Mayuri.
According to SPI S Dhole, Kasarvadawali police station, “We are in the process of taking appropriate action against Aaliya for acquiring Aadhar and PAN card through fraudulent means. Siddhesh and Aaliya have been shifting their residences often. They are presently absconding.”
The duo were staying at Rosa Bella, Palava City at Dombivali (E) until January this year. The police have booked Siddhesh for cruelty (Section 498 (A)), criminal breach of trust (Section 406) and criminal intimidation (Section 507) of the IPC.
As per a RTI inquiry by President of Anti-Corruption Bureau and Crime Preventive Council Mohan Krishnan, nearly 25,000 Bangladeshi nationals have been residing at Kasarvadawali at Thane
